Research on the Wobenzym® PS formulation
Wobenzym® PS is a fixed polyenzyme combination of trypsin, bromelain, and rutin. Each enteric - coated tablet contains 90 mg of bromelain, 48 mg of trypsin and 100 mg of rutin. The polyenzyme formulation now called Wobenzym® PS formulation has been called Phlogenzym in Germany. Wobenzym® PS is the same formulation made by the same manufacturer. The following references provide summaries of research done on the Wobenzym® PS formulation. The majority of the research is clinical research involving real patients. There also a number of double blind studies, with some of those being parallel studies comparing the Wobenzym® PS formulation against other therapies.
